Newster is a patented technology for the processing of solid hospital potentially infectious waste based on frictional heating treatment. The residue obtained is sterilized, finely grinded, dry and reduced in weight/ volume.

The treatment principle is tested, patented and certified. It is the most valid alternative currently available to traditional disposing methods like incineration.

The use of on-site technologies allows the remarkable reducing of the facilities’ costs for disposal, increases the hygiene quality, improves the safety of the personnel, contributes to reducing  produced waste quantity and also reduces the environmental impact to near zero in accordance with the trend of reduction of environmental emissions and risks arising from the transport of infectious waste.

Newster NW10

The Newster NW10 machine was designed for use in medium size  hospitals. The design allows the system to work for several shifts.  The system can be equipped with a water recycling system, which guarantees maximum effectiveness, safety and work continuity besides a further reduction of running costs. A specially designed system for the discharge of the material allows the operator to manage the treated waste easily.
